There's a HTC notepad widget that I use. Just hit the plus button and in the add widget screen hit the add more widgets link and you'll see it there.

I use AK Notepad (it's in the Market). What I like doing with it is using the voice recognition to "dictate" myself a note and have it convert to text. Who needs a keyboard?

please explain. downloaded AK and cant seem to find how to dictate in to the pad.?

nevermind found it. however i had to change out of the swype keyboard.
