hi guys i have a sd card which is 16gb ive done a full format although it is still showing 14gb available. i did have a 1gb partition for sdext whe i was using cyanogen but i have recently flash mildwild oxygen and i want to enable sdext but it seems that i cant?

really confused, can anybody help??

thanks

Hi mastavaj,

Just to check, does the card report 14 GB or 14.9 GB? The real capacity of a "16 GB" card is 14.9 GB, so if it's around there then the partition is gone. If it's more like 13.9 GB then it's still there, and probably all you've done is format the fat32 partition.

The Mildwild Oxygen thread at XDA says that to enable a2sd on that ROM you should go to Settings->Applications->Development. Did you try that? The "a2sd" commands are for DarkTremor a2sd, which I think is not what Mildwild uses.

all hail hadron!

just want to say a massive thanks to you and the guys on this forum you guys have given new life to my desire.

right, qsi says

sd card storage
total: 13.86gb free: 13.82gb - so the partition must be there

you know what i did that, there is an option for sd-ext which i selected but nothing happened until now, all i needed to do was reboot the phone! what a noob!!
