How do I install a new sd memory card that has more storage space?

Assuming you're talking about the external SD card, turn the phone off. (Take out the battery if it covers the card.) Slide the card out. (Notice which way it faces.) Slide the old one in facing the same way.
If you;re talking about the internal memory in the phone, there's no way to increase that. It stays with what it came with.
