Im having trouble getting apps on my phone due to "insufficient storage" errors. I am trying to get apps no more than 30-50mb and my phone says I have 290mb free. Yet when i try to install anything, it says "insufficient storage".
Is there a certain amount of extra space alloted to some apps that wont allow you to get them if you dont have enough? If so why is the true amount of space needed for the app notstated anywhere. This is truly frustrating.
BTW my phone is an LG but im not sure of the model. Its an older midrange Virgin Mobile model. It doesnt allow transfer of apps to the sd card so I know that im not accidentally looking at the wrong number for memory available.
Any help is much appreciated!
