Hello everyone;
Not sure when I first signed up if I ever said hello. Bought my HTC Evo 3-d when it came out in 6-2011. I rooted my first phone and still it's bricked.
Purchased another one and I went from Sprint to Metro with an S-On
and Unlocked. Trying to read what I believe are hundreds of ways to root your phone and it seems really confusing because everyone is out to claim they know how to do it better than the next guy. As far as responsibility is concerned, well no one can or will take it. If you break(brick) your phone as I did you either buy a new one or throw it away or send it,take it, to a pro programmer and pay but not understand the methods in flashing roms and just have plain fun with an expensive hand held computer. I have been reading and utubing everything there is to just my evo 3-d phone and it's endless and wild,- the amount of people writing new apps and programs for these phones. Personally I don't think the phone needs changes BUT the smartphones should all be rooted and unlocked the day you buy it from a Dealer. I don't understand why they want to have total control over what kind of apps and programs (Bloatware) and stuff you have to keep on your phone when everyone knows it's not just a phone but a computer with an OS on it. It's like windows not allowing you to install or remove any apps or programs you don't want or need on your home computer!!!! They want to run your computer/phone your apps and most of all your Life. Thank God for sites like this and ROOTING in general.
These Big Corporations have to learn this is a free society and stop trying to run peoples lives and also stop minding every ones business..!!:confused:
