I keep having problems with Dolphin forgetting sites I have in tabs, and loading Google in its place. I also am short on ram with my MyTouch being slow to respond in general. Could ram be what is confusing Dolphin?

No, it's your settings.
And if you're short on RAM: don't run everything at the same time.

Why can't I get into my settings, bookmarks, downloads, or anything else? What broke?

Also, how do I control what gets started besides through the app drawer? ...and how do I stop apps that I don't want now short of a task list? I have a lot to learn about these little robots

IMO, Copleo's advice is misleading.

You shouldn't need to worry about RAM with the newer versions of Android. (What version do you have?)

It should manage that by itself.

Also, there are several versions of Dolphin. Which one do you have? Standard? Mini? HD? Do you have the most recent version?

I am showing Firmware 1.6 though when I bought the phone a couple months ago they T-Mobile advertised that it had Android 2.4.

It appears Miren is showing the same symtoms as Dolphin with the settings. It handles the pages correctly though.
