Memory problem - please help!

I have got the 16GB Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 and I have a 64GB memory card installed.

My memory is apparently almost full on the Galaxy Note device.. I had no idea why.. I've not got that many apps installed! Anyway, it refuses to download or update apps anymore telling me that I don't have enough memory. What's the point in having this tablet if it's not automatically storing things to the memory card? It's winding me up! Can someone please help me store apps to my memory card.

Thank you.

Apps can't placed on the SD card but some apps can place their data there, eg. dictionary apps, camera/video apps, music apps, GPS/navigation apps with offline maps.
Install a storage analyzer like DiskUsage for to see which apps have big amounts of data.
And look at the settings of these apps if it's possible to place their data on the SD card.

Your folder Download might have a big amount of downloads.
So you'd create a folder Download on your SD card and shove all downloads on it.
If your download manager can't use the place on the SD card for default then use the download manager of ES File Explorer for the job, it is able to set up it on its settings.

It looks like the 4.2.2 update for the Note 8.0 enables apps to be moved to SD. So if you have that update, you should be able to do it without any issues.

Also, you might want to check out Clean Master. I use it on a weekly basis to clear the cache. That can take quite a bit of space over time if left unchecked... ;)
