When I first got this phone, it was very fast. I could watch movies and listen to Pandora with ease. Now anything requiring an internet connection takes forever and I can't watch a four minute you tube video without it stopping to buffer five times. It also seems like the internet connection is unstable. Someone please help, cause i'm seriously considering getting a different phone but I really want this one to work like it first did
Welcome to the forums, audi0artists3.
Over a period of time, with heavy or moderate use, Android devices build up data in internal system files such as /data/data and the dalvik cache (and of course the cache and data files for each app/widget).
If not rooted, you have fewer choices as to cleaning things and getting the old speed back, but the choices you do have can help dramatically.
If you don't have an app cache cleaner from Market, just do it manually via the application manager. Go into each app and clear the cache and data (if "data" is not greyed out), then reboot.
Also, make sure you don't have too many apps/widgets auto syncing, such as Gmail, news and weather, weather widgets, Facebook, etc. The services those apps and widgets need run in the background and build up at times as to resource drain. I keep all of mine set to manually update on demand rather than use up needed resources.
