Rooted Zte Merit z990g.
Installed TouchNav Recovery
Installed Custom ROM via update.zip
Phone kept freezing and shutting off again after kids lost sd card.
Downloaded and installed Recovery files
Phone began freezing again and shutting down on its own after three weeks.
Went to go back to stock so that I could send it in for a replacement however I keep getting
Installation aborted, failed signature verification, a.d or whole signature verification not found.
I stopped right there and decided to ask for assistance.
I've read what seems to be like hundreds of topics but nothing is really making much sense to me any more. The words all seem to blur together from constant reading to try and obtain a soulution. I've read it may be possibe to bypass the signature verification if installed by Clockworkmod Recocery....but have no idea how to go about any of installing it on my device. I have ROM toolbox, but as stated previously, Im hoping to receive detailed instruction from someone with more experience and knowledge on the subject before I do anything else. Any assistance is far more appreciated than what could be expressed.
