Mes vs Electrify

Am going to US Cell in three days to upgrade my phone. I currently use the blackberry curve and have never owned an android device. Which phone will be a better purchase for me to be a "beginner" on? The Mesmerize or Electrify?

All help is greatly appreciated!!!!

This would be better for you than to hear everybody's opinion. You must have an idea what you're looking to get from a device.

Hello and welcome to Android Forums!

One of the beauties of Android is its extensibility. You can take a top of the line phone and use only the basic features and then add to it as your needs and ability increase. I'd recommend getting as much phone as you can afford, so when you do want to do more with it, it's capable.

I'm not familiar with either of those models, but I do tend to prefer Samsung phones over Motorola.

Lunatic's advice of getting the best phone you can afford is definately right. You may end up feeling underwhelmed by Android if you "settle" for a phone.

Each person can tell you why their phone is the best... I would suggest going to a store and getting some hands on experience with the phones first... some just don't "feel" right and you only know that by having a play!
