Hello...I just got my Samsung Mesmerize tonite. I've been playing with it for about 2 hrs now. I cant get my text ringtone to work after i set it. It plays a different tone than what I choose. Any thoughts or ideas on what I could do? Would appreciate any help...it's very frustrating!! Thanks!

There are two places to set the ringtone. There is a general default in menu>settings>sound but there is also an individual setting in the messaging app. This will override the general setting. Open the app and tap menu>settings you should see it there, possibly under options or more. I don't have an LG phone so i am not sure of the exact menu structure. Follow the link olbriar gave you for specific info.
