Help Message app help please...

I installed ChompSMS message app. My phone is rooted, but stock. I saw that I don't need the stock msg app if I install another one. So I used "App Quarantine" to "Freeze" stock msg app.

I sent a msg to my wife last night with ChompSMS. She said she got it and responded 10 minutes later. I still have not gotten the reply.

1.) Are you required to keep stock message app running for Chomp to work?

2.) In settings, I had "I am on USA T-Mobile" checked and "CDMA split" checked. I have since unchecked them and still no reply. How should these be set?

Any ideas why I'm not receiving messages?

I have the stock messaging app frozen and I'm using Handcent and everything works fine. Is Chomp set as your default messaging app?

Unless I missed it, I didn't see "default msg app" setting.

I emailed developer, but haven't heard back yet.

I couldn't go any longer missing messages so I switched to Handcent (which I did find a "set as default messaging app" setting) and it is working.

Got a reply from Chomp. Turns out with Chomp, you have to leave the stock message app in places for it to work because they share the same database.

I've already switched to Handcent.
