Help Message from AT&T

Received a message from at&t alerting me that "When ever ASKED to INSTALL the update just press o.k. -any body else received this kind of message?

Can't say that I have but I tend to ignore carrier texts ... they are usually hawking unnecessary features that cost way too much for what they do.

I've seen posts about rooted users getting this, not amounting to anything I think. Are you rooted by any chance?

I've not seen specifically 'rooted' people getting the message, but people with custom ROMs. I'm rooted and I've never seen that message.

That's the exact message they sent? Looks not much different from what you get in spam emails imo
