Hey, I just got my Galaxy S3 yesterday and it's an awesome phone. Something that surprised me was that the Backup assistant app wouldn't work. I'd enter my password and the phone would say it couldn't connect or tell me to try again in 30mins. But since I am using the same SD card and imported contacts from Facebook, I simply ignored this. Now this is where the issue comes in. I got a text message the next day, and when I tried to send a text I got a message saying "Message Not Sent". I also have no text modifying apps like Handcent or any of that.
Now, I've searched this around for a solution to this error for a while and couldn't find anything that works. Here's a list of what I've tried.
-Making sure there isn't a +1 in front of the number.
-Resetting the phone.
-Taking out the SM Card and putting it back in.
-Removing the battery and putting it back in.
-Trying to send the text with Handcent
-Turning on Airplane mode and turning it back off
-Turning off Wi-Fi
All of my other stuff works. I can play games, browse and even go on Youtube and facebook normally.
