I also have a captivate glide and I have the same issue as jrnyfan. I do not see a resolution. Any further thoughts? Did he/she get an answer anywhere else?

Referring to another post without a link to it doesn't help us to help you, but guessing by your topic:
The camera saves pictures to the SD card. With USB storage on, the computer has access to the SD card. They can't both access it at the same time, so you can either have USB storage on and see the card from the computer, or you can use the camera - not both.
