Message widget gone

My messgae widget has just gone from the screen on my Xperia x10 mini pro. Can anyone tell me how to get it back please?

Press and hold your display to add a new item (or press the menu key and choose "add"), choose "Application", scroll down to "Messaging", choose it, and click "finish".
