Help Messages - Threads to simple list ?

Hi guys
just got my awesome galaxy s few days ago and im loving it. ^^ Just one thing that is bugging me. In my old phone i just had a list of messages in date order but not in folders. Now on the galaxy s, it separates them into threads according to contact. Is there a way to just have a simple list of messages ?

Im sorry if my explanation is hard to understand.

Not sure which model SGS you have but some of them have a Folder View option to the threaded view for messages as follows:

Folder View
This screen displays your messages in a tabular format. Inbox,
Outbox, and Draft display on different tabs. the number of
messages contained in each folder displays in a brackets.
1. From the Home screen, touch Messaging.
2. Press Menu > Folder view.
3. Touch one of the tabs to view the messages in that folder.

My i9000M Vibrant unfortunately doesn't have this option.

Unfortunately it cant be done.

Too bad. Apparently most people prefer the threaded view but it would be nice to have the option. JOC, which model SGS do you have?
