Help Messaging- Contacts Synced With Google....?

Hey this is my first post! I got my Galaxy S2 today for ATT and i LOVE it.

Anyhow, i entered a gmail account to use the marketplace but annoyingly, when i text, all the people that i have emailed show up in my contacts....Is there a way to stop this? Thanks!

if you view your contact display settings, you can turn off some of the views.

That helped with turning off the contacts but when i message, it's still there as in email addresses still show up when i text.

you need to disable the google contacts sync in the settings > accounts and sync. I learned that hard way with my Captivate. Unfortunately, I am not sure how to get them out easily once they are already in your phone.
