Just got the Vortex last week and not sure if messaging app is working right. Here's what happens:
When I go into messaging and hit compose new message the window with the address bar comes up on the top of the screen. If I don't enter any name/phone #, I get my contact list by hitting the search button to the right of the address box. When I select a contact it either takes the contact to the message or I get one of two errors: Error 1 says invalid recipient or I get a pop up that gives me the option to call any of the numbers on the contact and if I select that I get invalid recipient.
If I go to my Contacts directly (not thru the mssg app) I have the option to either call or mssg any of the numbers, even the ones that come up invalid through the messaging app.
This just seems wierd. I went to a reseller store yesterday and they refered me to tech support. Called them and got to tier II and rep was helpful and had me try a few things (including reloading phone) but still works the same.
Any ideas?
