messaging folder deleted by mistake

my phone is a GT S5301 the folder for messages disappeared now i can not receive SMSs there is a message which is always coming to display which says "messaging has stopped" how do i correct the error.

It's a little strange that the phone let you delete the messaging app... you could try downloading a 3rd party SMS app from the Play Store - a lot of people use Hancent, Go SMS or Chomp :)
