I moved my custom ringtones that I've used for 13 years (5 phones) now (in mp3 format about 25 seconds long each) to the notifications folder on the phone memory. I switched the notification ringtone to one of these (as well as the calendar event and task ringtone) because I want to be able to hear the phone notify me when I'm walking or in a noisy area...the normal ringtones are about 1-2 seconds long and I don't hear them barely ever in these conditions.
The problem is for messaging (and the task) the sound doesn't turn off when I respond to my phone either when it is locked or unlocked. The song just plays to its completion. For the calendar event though when I touch any button like snooze or dismiss, it immediately stops.
All my previous phones, Apple, LG, Pantech and Samsung have all immediately stopped playback upon the pressing of a button but the s4 mini does not.
Is there a button or function I'm missing?
