Hi, I am new on here so sorry if I have started this thread in the wrong place, or I have missed an earlier answer to this problem (I have looked but can not find a solution)
I have a Samsung S3 which is a verizon handset which I amm now using in the UK and everything works fine except....
when I receive a text message the phone now adds a prefix to the incoming number for example i get a message from a uk mobile number 07********* the number shows on my phone as +44 7*** ****** and when I try to reply to the text message it always fails with the message
sorry, the number you are sending to does not contain the correct number of digits.
if i delete all messages from the number and input the number manually or from my contacts (none of my contacts have the + pre fixes) i can send a message but when i get a reply it adds the +44 prefix and wont let me reply again?????
this happens with all messages I receive from numbers which are in my contacts and those which are not but It does not seem to happen with calls.
Any help much appreciated.
Thanks, Craig
