Help Messaging problems

Hi,

For some reason when I get a message it wont let me press the individual message and read that one alone, I have to look at the whole message thread, although I used to be able to read individual messages. I've checked friends Samsung Galaxy's and they can do it but I can't.

Any ideas?

I started to experience this after I updated to 2.3.3 from 2.2. I assumed it was just a new feature? To be honest it seems like they removed a feature instead... Did you recently update your phone's firmware? If so from/to which version?

I'm on 2.3.3 now, not sure what my old firmware was as hadn't done it for a while. Is there a new version out now and if so can you do it on the new version?

2.3.3 is the most recent version Kies will allow me to update to, so I would assume that there are no new versions to update to. I think this is just a simple change that has been made in the firmware. Rest assured, it's not a bug. Remember when you used to get a long message, and it said "more" at the bottom of the little bubble, and you had to click on the bubble to see the full message? Now, the entire message is displayed in the bubble, no matter how long it is.

Seems like a silly thing to remove , but hey what can you do.
