Root MetaMorph Swype theme for Maxx?

Ive got my phone rooted, now I want to theme the Swype keyboard. Ive seen other phones that are able to do it but when I follow the steps to apply the theme, nothing works. MetaMorph says that it cant do it because the control file is invalid or is not properly written.. any input on this?

Swype.apk is in the system/app directory

It says that the file has to be in system/app named swype.apk

Some phones come with that file in the data/app directory as some other name like com.swype.android.imputmethod-1.apk, in which case the file would need to be moved to the system/app directory and renamed to swype.apk in order for MM to read it and do its thing. However, I did some snooping around my phone and the ONLY swype.apk that I can find is already in the system/app directory. One site says that I'm already 3/4 of the way there and that all I need to do is run MM then reboot for it to work but MM just won't do its thing for some reason.. Also, according to the screenshots, the theme doesnt have the swype button, the microphone button, the numerals page button, or the enter button so I'm starting to believe that this theme isnt made for the Maxx? Which really sucks because Im really diggin the black/red theme
