Root metamorph

should i do nandroid backups every time before i install a metamorph theme?

can the themes cause issues that would make not doing a nandroid backup a bad idea?

*I already have a "root" nandroid backup to be able to restore or fall back on for a clean install. (root only - no custom ROM installed)

so before installing a metamorph theme, i would:

go to recovery:
--------------
-nandroid backup (with custom ROM already installed, not plain root)
-wipe
-reboot
-install theme from sd card with "metamorph"
-power off
-reboot in recovery again
-then nandroid backup for theme?

is that right? or is wipe not needed?

if thats not right, please explain.

Before you install anything...
- nandroid..
- install your "whatever..."
- check if it works, like you want it..

- if it works, cool
- it does not work  - > nandroid restore your state :)

I sometimes do. It depends on how careful you wanna be. As long as the morph is for your version you will usually be fine.

The nandroid is saved on your SD card. I usually rename w/ rename with rom and whatever extra crap I put on (cyan5053/oc-uv) and move older backups to computer via USB mount
