So why aren't us LG Spirit owners getting JB?

Metro is offering a couple of different LG Optimus' phones with JB 4.1

They are also offering a "$40.00 for everything plan" for new subscribers as well.

that's hella boo boo man :/ i keep lookin on the internet for when the spirit gets jelly bean hoping ill find something lol..
 
Metro pcs would rather you buy a new phone then update the ones the have out. That's why the connect/esteem never got an ics update but their sister phones did. Hence why I'm now on the spirit instead of my connect still. I only know of 2 phones on metro the got updates, the ascend because they dropped a tap out version with 2.2 so they updated the old one and the S3 which got the official JB update for reasons unknown to me.

Esteem wouldn't run ICS very stable since there almost wouldnt be a byte of RAM leftover
And then us S3 people were starting a riot on FB plus its easier to update the S3 since Sammy gives out the update on flagships for free
