Metro Meeting Mole? Is there one here? Can we find one?

It appears from initial Googling that merger vote results are usually announced At The End of the meeting, in the meeting. Sounds logical or why else attend just to put your ballot in the box?

So I guess the quickest way to find out what happens is to know some stockholder who is going to the meeting.

Anyone here?

How long do you think the Mothership would leave a message up on their Faceplant page asking for a stockholder planning to attend the meeting to email me?

Anyone else wanna ask them that there? :D

Anyone else got any better source ideas for the fastest Yea or Nah answer?

There's nothing legally or ethically miscreant about say posting the result from the meeting.

Now, yeah, if they had some inside knowledge, to say That ahead of time is something completely different. (As is basically doing Anything with that inside knowledge)

I suspect Bryant is right. It's not like we're the only ones who want to know. :rolleyes:

I'd like to go to that especially if in there, I could figure out who was who. (I almost think you could pick out Hans and Frans :p You know, being German. )

There's people in there with Large Coin on the line. They're not kidding. I assume each side gets to argue their case one last time before the vote and it'd be neat to watch the interactions.

And again, earlier this month you could have gotten a ticket in for $8. (1 share)
I'd take 1/2 a day off of work for that. :D

I don't think you have to be a share holder to get an audio cast of share holder meetings. According to the parent company website, the next share holder meeting (and audio) should be available on May 16th according to their website, Deutsche Telekom: Shareholders' Meeting

According to the 2012 Q4 operating results (2013 Feb 28th), they say this:
T-Mobile is on track to close the merger with MetroPCS in the first half of 2013, a combination that will create the premier challenger in the U.S. wireless market.

Maybe the better recon method is to figure out which phone blogger is most likely to have finagled a real time update from someone.

I'd wonder if the guy that does the T-Mo has his own mole?

[EDIT] I found a MetroPCS blogger but he's not nearly so polished as the TmoNews. I asked them both if they've arraigned for any Real Time 411.

Well, the one Metro blogger barely sniffed at the lure. :(

The TMoNews guy on the other hand, said he had already been thinking about who he could find in the meeting. But then that the news would be here and there and blah, and blah. :rolleyes:

He obviously needed pokin' with the jobbin' stick. So I poked 'em. :smokingsomb:

I said, "What? you have no desire to be first? You Could Be with someone in the meeting. Heck you could have the article already written each way, add a couple lines and hit publish as soon as you get the text.

He sounded like it really has him thinking about it.

I'll give it a few more days and poke 'em with the stick some more. :D

He didn't say his name but he answered for TMoNews with their logo on their Faceplant page. He sounded like he could be running the show.
