I forgot where I read that somehow that battery lasts longer than its 3000 counterpart.
 
I think 2gigs of ram is fine. Android ram management has been excellent since Kitkat. The lower res TFT screen is disappointing but, the rest of spec sheet looks good and more importantly, it has a significantly more powerful processor. For the instant rebate price of 150, I think it's still a pretty good deal.

I'm using a N5X as my daily phone and it runs fantastic on just 2 gig of RAM (course, it's bloat free Android and not running LG's UI so I don't know how the Stylo would run on 2 gig).

I guess we all might be window shopping. If it isn't more than just the vid and the thumb print with no more ram they aren't gonna do very well. We'll just wait for something better than.

It might still do well with the general public, given the bunch of smaller & 1/8gb alternative trash ± its immediately lowered price.
The rest of us are left hanging @ +year w/ no improved release. Even the new Samsung stuff has been garbage... we used to get regular releases from them with something tempting... larger screen or GB capacity...
I'm really surprised the V10 didn't eventually work its way here, even @ lesser version.

And may even come with a locked bootloader. Being 6.0 may also create a huge root access headache.

I'm not joining in on another mass donation to JCase for an exploit either. Had it not been for root, a couple of ROMs and a pretty good camera, the Stylo would have officially been the (literally) biggest heap of LG $hjT I've ever bought, next to the MS840.

I just bought three brand new VZW moto E phones for $13 a piece off the clearance rack at Wally World. Very easily unlocked for GSM, so off I go. Too bad Metro doesn't sell these things, they're a great buy, even for the full $40-$50 pricetag :(
 
I posted earlier in the Stylo 2 thread that the Plus has hit some stores already.

Many corporate stores are a pain.. they'll put out the display, then curtly tell you "we're not releasing them yet".
That's it. It forces you to ask for the specs. "I don't know". And... when available. "Check back in a few days".
Independent stores are so much better.

Anyhow, I'll wait until this becomes a bust and gets heavily discounted... and I don't mean $99.
Or maybe by then the Samsung A9 Pro will be here.
