Hi, folks, the other day i forgot my ZTE ZMax Pro charger at mom's home, i dont have another one, so i realized my battery was about 1% and then tried to get the charger and... well it was not there. anyways, i have an oldie phone (Samsung Galaxy Note 2 N7100 unlocked) and tried to swap simcards, but the simcard from metro didnt work. i tried another phone from metro PCS and either worked! those phones are not LTE, and the simcard that i am trying to use i think is LTE, do you think that that's could be the problem??? i am very sure my celphones are unlocked because i used to use them abroad all the time. please any help would be aprecciate it

You can't just switch sim cards with MetroPCS. You have to call and they need to do the IMEI switch. Your unlocked Note 2 should work once they switch it.

i dodnt know about that? never heard of that.... well i will see how can i call them then

I've done it 5 times in the last 16 months. I came from T-Mobile where you could just pop in sim cards.

Metro is different. Call customer service from a different phone. Don't call from the phone you are putting the sim card into.

Either you can try Metro PCS homepage and follow switch phone method or call customer service.

From my experience calling is better, homepage system may say invalid IMEI or SIM# even though they are valid.

Before call, make sure you have phone IMEI# (check the back or go to system->setting->about phone) and SIM card's # handy.
