Root [MetroPCS] 4.4.x ROM with working LED/Flash?

I love Xperion, but I'd love even more to have KitKat on one of the 4.4.x ROMs. I just flashed CM11, and the LED flash does not work. I use it several times a day to use it as a flashlight. Is there any 4.4.x ROM that has a working LED/Flash so I can use it as a flashlight?

i think theres a fix thread on here somewhere where someone figured it out.i cant remember tho.i do know that the led has some issues however on the kitkat mods

Normally I'd just click the "search this forum" and go from there, but this forum doesn't have the ability to search like that from what I see. I'll just manually search around, you've given me hope :)

I have been following the f6 forums since before this phone had any KitKat ROMs and I'm sorry to be the bearer of bad news but if the LED flash doesn't work on your phone there is no fix for it

Ok, so basically the LED flash on the F6 will never work in a KK release unless LG gets generous and releases the source code? If that's the case I'll stick to the Xperion ROM since I use the LED flash so often.

That's pretty much it. If you can find one that says v10i on the sticker inside the battery compartment instead of v12b it won't have any camera issues. My brother had one and I convinced him to trade me cause he doesn't care about ROMs or any of that. It is almost 100% certain that lg will never release source or a kk update for this phone.

It's probably less of a LG thing and more of a Qualcomm thing.

The HP TouchPad wasn't an Android device, but there was an Gingerbread build for it, probably from some developer at HP before HP axed the project. Since there was no official support for the TouchPad, CM9 was initially made without a functioning camera. Then some clever developer made the camera work with CM9/10/11 by writing a wrapper to interface with the existing GB binary blob. Maybe the fixes for the F6 would never be made like you said, but it's not entirely hopeless.
