Root [MetroPCS] Anybody want the number row on their lg keyboard?

I found this port a few months so i dont want to take credit for it, but for the love of criste i cant remember where i found it..

Instructions

1.first install like normal apk.

2.With a root explorer or whatever u have go to system/app and backup LGEIMEbin.apk and LGEIMEbin.odex or rename by adding .bak ex(LGEIMEbin.apk.bak

3.Manually paste

4.Reboot, go to system settings and choose lg keyboard as default, enjoy

never mind i found the thread
but if u notice on this thread its only for dex not odex i just remember that u had to delete odex file or it would work..

I wouldn't suggest that you delete the files you mentioned, but simply rename them with the .bak extension.

I wish there was a way to edit Swiftkey to get the number row up top. Im going to try this keyboard for a day or 2, but it may take more than the number row to switch back from Swiftkey.

Its not that you have a boring title, its just that people perfer other keyboards more than this one. Like mentioned above, if you could get this working with Swiftkey. You would have more replys regardless of title.

Why not just write an email to the developers of swift key and see if they can incorporate an option to change in the settings to show the number row up top into their next update or version.

The argument for the need of it is strong enough. Convenience is key.

I mean whoever that says this post is lame or not exciting, please hang yourself, it's a community, that's what this portal is about. I really don't need that, but I'm running the stock Google keyboard app. You can get it from the Play Store, it functions very good for me.
