Root [MetroPCS] Anyone running stock rom rooted? Does google hangouts work?

Anyone running stock rom rooted..... can you install the latest Google Hangouts from the play store and see if you can make or receive phone calls from the hangouts app?

Making and receiving phone calls... yes. With the previous version, everything works fine. With the latest version (3.0.87531466), however, the other party can't hear me.

Edit: Oops, actually, with the previous version, the app would forget settings as reported here:

i.e. the "Incoming phone calls" setting would become unchecked on its own.
