Hey i was recently on carbon rom and i wanted to flash xperion rom again so i went into recovery wiped data/factory reset wipe cache and dalvik when i flashed xperion after that my screen turned blue on reboot and nothing happened i booted back into recovery and when i go to wipe data it says error mounting data error mounting sdcard anyone know what i can do to get my phone working again?

Were you using the SD card hack? If you were that might be the issue. If you put xperion on your internal storage while it was combined with your sd card, it removes the hack while you're flashing and messes everything up. I'd recommend going in to download mode and using the lg mobile support tool to unbrick your phone.

The link for it is in my guide on the main page for setting up kitkat with working camera. It'll take you to a step by step process you can follow. To go in to download mode, first plug your phone in to your pc. Turn off the phone, and then turn it back on holding both the power button and volume up button.

Thank you very much i will try it, after i do all that i will have to root and flash recovery again right?..... Also should i do method 1 first?

@Devok95
Yeah you need to remove the sd hack before flashing any roms. I've had this guide up for a long time now that might be of use to you. It covers unbricking, rooting, and recovery...

If I am using Link2SD is it necessary to remove it before updating Experion to the latest version? Thanks

Thanks both of you i did that and it worked now that i gotta start all over does your kernel work on the stock rom GT?
Yeah my kernel is for any rom based on firmware 12b including pure stock.

I believe so, but I can't say for sure about link2sd. If it was me I'd remove it before flashing any roms.

I doubt that it's running and if you want the sd hack again, I would redo a fresh clean install of it again after installing the rom you want. I can't speak much more on the sd hack since I'm not using it.

ok thanks the flash able debloater isnt suppose to work with stock roms is it cause i flash it and metro apps still there.

Does that mean it doesnt work anymore? even if i had the zip from a while back.

I have no idea. The last time I used that was when I first got my phone about a year ago. Easiest thing to do is flash a rom that is already debloated. If you're staying on stock then use the list on that page to debloat manually.
