Root [MetroPCS] Bulletproofing Apps

So I've finally got my F6 the way I want it to, except for one slight issue. In the Pie Control app, there is a shortcut that launches an app drawer overlay. The first time the shortcut is launched (until it is dropped from memory), Pie Control takes more than 30 secs to load all the app icons. Afterwards, it loads up instantaneously. However, after some period of time Pie Control cache for the app icons are dropped from memory. I would like to bulletproof Pie Control to prevent memory from being dropped so that I can avoid the 30 sec load times every time (besides the initial load time) the app drawer overlay takes to load app icon shortcuts.

Anyone here familiar with bulletproofing apps? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

You can try a tweak script called V6 supercharger on XDA, get the latest version of it!!!! You will need Smanager app and root to use it! Check out the tread on XDA first to see if that is what your look for!

Update: I pretty much bulletproofed Piecontrol app drawer from being flushed. I ran the latest V6 Supercharger, disabled flush-o-matic, bulletproofed piecontrol and piecontrol remote to get it to work. For good measure, I installed AppSettings (Xposed module) and made piecontrol persistent. (Not sure if it helps, or is necessary.)

Thatchinaboi I glad to see you got piecontrol bulletproofed!!! Does it work better now,and not crashing any more? Even making it persistent it should help by keeping cache locked in from crashing!!!

Yes, it's working better now. After initially loading the app drawer in pie control, the cache pretty much stays bulletproofed..with a couple of caveats.

Sometimes when streaming, launching pie control app drawer overlay will take awhile...as much as the initial wait time. I'm guessing it's a matter of the foreground app cache being prioritized. At first I thought the pie control app drawer cache was flushed, but I found that after streaming stops (not right afterwards), it is restored, meaning it launches the app drawer with all the icons instantaneously.

The second caveat: After installing new apps, the pie control cache will get flushed. So to launch it afterwards, would take as long as it initially does. But after that, the icon cache is again bulletproofed.

All in all, I love pie control for its speed, and functionality. I can't imagine going back to not using it.

BTW, I am able to use Pie Control over the lock screen!!! I cannot tell you how awesome this is. I'm using the Social Quick Launch lock screen app. I HIGHLY recommend this combo.

Thatchinaboi sorry I've have not posted back earlier but been busy!!! I'm gald you love it and it working great!!!! Thanks for the link I'll try it out when I get a chance!!!!

Well, I wanted to do this for Opera. I hate how Opera needs to refresh the page I was on after using another app or two. It's especially annoying when I had something typed, and it all gets deleted because I temporarily switched between apps.

I tried the v6 supercharge thing. Installation went through perfectly, and was 100% supercharged when I checked. I also specifically bulletproofed Opera. It didn't really do anything. I had got he exact same problem as before.

I also tried this tweak after restoring a pre-v6 backup. Didn't do anything either unfortunately.

I'm using the Xperion rom if it matters.

Just a random update on my Opera problem if anyone is facing something similar The
"App Settings" module for Xposed did the trick. All I had to do is set Opera to resident.
