Root [MetroPCS/CDMA] 4.1.2 Jellybean issues

I am on the OTA official MB2 rom
I rooted it using the Odin/CWR deal and it's great to be rooted (for Titanium Pro)

I also see that it now shows in the settings>about>status at the very bottom that phone is MODIFIED (ie:rooted)

Speed is ok 8+Mbps down but >1Mbps up @this time

Battery life: SHOCKED to see 4G always send/rec every min or so and bat life was droppin @ 1% every 2-3 min under mild use
This may turn into a problem

I could get 12+ hours on ICS 4.0.4 rooted with mild use

Need a list of all the bloat/stuff that can be removed/frozen (TB+ Pro) and this may stop this battery drop I am seeing.
Has anyone come up with a list for 4.1.2 for the MetroBLOAT?

The battery life and being rooted are the most important things for myself

And does anyone know where you can look at the startup services/files so that can be edited?
I froze metrobloat easy wifi and just now called *228 to be sure roaming list was up to date, phone rebooted ok fine then the 'Unfortunately MetroPCS Easy WiFi has stopped working' showed up.
Well I for one made it a USER APP (in TB+ Pro removed from ROM and made into user app) and then froze it. Also moved Rapshitty music service from ROM and then deleted it). Froze Yahoo news&financial, made Youtube a userapp (not a ROM app) and Froze SNS (facebook app).
Still battery life drop seems to be more now than with ICS 4.0.4

Anyone to chime in?

Ok guys and forgive me for triple posting but this is important seems metro has disabled us from accessing hidden menu....... used to be if u went to dialer and dialed this u would get to hidden menu *#22745927 now it dosnt do anything........


Edit: nevermind seems it worked for some1 else but not me but if ya could verify from ya phones that would be great seems im gonna do a reflash...

When I get notifications, although the vibrations and sounds are enabled, I never feel it nor hear it, I had to factory reset once and that seemed to fix it, woke up this morning and the vibration is gone again.
Has this happened to anyone?

Edit: nevermind seems it worked for some1 else but not me but if ya could verify from ya phones that would be great seems im gonna do a reflash...

EDIT: nvm, didn't notice the lil * up there LOL, but when i do it.. im only getting an option to enable or disable hidden menu, there no actual options in this menu tho lol

Lol did u change any settings? Also the usb settings are missing. I I fixed my issue but can't find hidden usb settings.

Lol...it works

People who feel battery isn't as good, give it a few full cycles for the kernel to settle in...especially if you've oc'd or even changed the governor

Also noticing that my battery life is a little worse lately. It's not a huge drop but enough to notice. For example...with 4.0.4, usually for the first few hours of the morning at work I'm too busy to play with the phone so I'll tend to have about 85 - 89% battery life remaining by about 12 noon. Now with the new 4.1.2, yesterday it was down to somewhere around 75 - 78% at the same point of the day.

I'll keep a look out though over the next few days to confirm that battery life is drastically worse...cause so far I'm not 100% on that yet

i removed quite a bit of the bloat the rest to keep the phone stable i just used the hide the icon feature on the phone

Since the jellybean upgrade I'm no longer able to connect the phone to my computer. Windows 7 device manager says the device is working properly, but I get no file listings showing. I can't find any connectivity options.
Straight stock phone.

I have rooted and frozen Easy WiFi and My Metro and don't have a problem with data connections. But, Easy Wfi when installed always insisted to log in the open network by my house instead of my secured network.

I initially had battery life issues but since giving the kernal a few days to settle in my battery life is starting to improve again.

The phone does feel a lot faster and smoother!!

For that you can use ODIN and push CWM. Under Advanced (when you restart VOL UP/HOME/PWR into recovery mode) you can go to Advanced/WIPE BATTERY CACHE
then reboot
That may correct that problem as it only showing 57%

I got the Enble/Disable hidden menu but how do you get to see the 'hidden' menu?
I Enabled it but now?

This is for you Mr.N4sty cuz I figured you may know. I got the ota update last night and it's all good and such BUT somethings are a bit jerky and lag like sms when going to speech to text and dead trigger drops frames left and right when playing and is very jerky . Is this bcuz I have to wait for the kernel to settle in and let my phone get used to it or what? I did disable hardware overlays otherwise there is bad ghosting when playing dead trigger I know that. But what do you think broski? Internet browsing is also very skippy.

For some reason I can't switch my 3g back to 4g after switch via phone info. My speeds are fast as hell(1.2 mbs) but I still want my 4g but I only get these speeds with my 3g when my 4g acts this way I noticed the last time this happened.

So far, I've been using it for a day, but my LED Notifications, Red and Blue looks kind of Light blue and light Red... Also, the Samsung Keyboard fonts used to be change with all the System fonts, but now It can't be change... Good thing the include Swype and that keyboard change with the system fonts. Those are the issues I found till now, if I find other I will let them know Guys

I discovered the LED notification brightness is now automatically set if you have screen brightness @ auto

I hope they fix all the issues...... Cuz quite honestly this update sucks really bad. Only temple run 2 plays ok but wild blood or dead trigger are just TERRIBLE. Ics they played great with a stutter here or there but not like this omg its bad. The ui isnt as smooth as it was yes faster but smoother? Hell no. Hope it gets fixed if not back to ics for me guys. Or i may just get a note 2 from t mobile......
