Root [MetroPCS/CDMA] 4g has vanished ! and isnt coming back :/

It worked for me every time I've lost 4g. I usually do a factory reset once the phone is restored to stock with no root
 
I've used the odin method twice , Factory reset the device once i was on stock and still not getting any 4g. I used the reset counter before using odin , idk if it worked or not but im going to try to see if they can help.
 
for those that used odin method and got 4g working, what tar file did you use?? I used the mb2 tar file and i still have no 4g =/
 
can someone do me the favor of checking under settings/about phone/status and telling me what your mobile network type says... mine says "1xRTT:6"
 
Mines says lte 14 I also flash odin I'm back to stock rooted I will only use a rom that doesn't require any fixes
 
Rom hopping can be a killer glad i found one that I'm sticking too..I'm in Miami my 4G been working flawlessly hasn't went out yet

Yeah you are right that's what messed up my 4g a couple of days ago and my camera working with custom roms I try axis then goodness and synergy all that flashing might have hurt the phone who knows lol so I started fresh with odin which rom you on kungfu
 
Alright guys just came back from corporate store. Basically they can't do anything about it besides either give you a new iccid card or a new phone and if you dont have the insurance you're going to have to pay $30 ($32.10 w/ tax if your in Fl) for a new phone.

Damn sorry to hear that I hear you if you order the replacement for a two or three day wait it's like $16 it's funny if you pay $32 then they have it in the back then paying $16 they text you in three days lol and still give you the same phone that they had in the back room of the store
 
Paying the 32 is for a (refurbished) phone. and It's 15 for the (new) one, they told me the wait was 5 business days
 
So thats all coorperate can do...tsk tsk, sad.

and yea the whole lte:14 under status is prolly why im not receiving 4g, cause im only getting 1x crap! :[

ill wait 5 days i dont care i can use one of them metro flip phones laying around here somewhere for 5 days ya impatient! shame on ya!!!!!!!!!
 
That's what i thought. But i tried that, and i was told i had to change my service to another 4g phone or I will lose the promotional 55 unlimited plan -_____-

Yea I was furious bro. So I'm stuck with 1x until my corporate store decides to restock on s3's and then I'll get a refurbished one for 32.
 
This issue happened to me when I bought my S3 from someone on Craigslist..I had to buy a new sim card for $5...all I had was 3g. I called in and was told that they had to activate the sim card for the service to work correctly. I gave them the sim card number, they activated it and within minutes 4g was up and running.

When I flashed another ROM and I believe it was Synergy, something happened and I lost my 4g when I flashed to another rom. I thought the phone got screwed up somehow because I was getting 3g or less service. For the heck of it, I called Metro and told them I was only getting 3g service....turns out for whatever reason, they had to activate the sim card again. Again, I gave them the sim card number and within minutes the 4g service was restored!
 
Flash the stock rom and take the phone to a corporate store and they gonna flash the original stock rom and firmware. Make sure the device is normal under status I work for a corp metro store in kissimme fl

i did exactly that but they didn't flash anything , they just made me pay for a replacement
