hey everyone, i have a sprint s3 flashed to metro pcs and i was wondering if i upgrade my baseband should i use one from sprint or metro?

Definitely use the metro baseband as your phone is now considered a metro s3

do not use teh metro one

the esn's have been swapped not the motherboards and hardware you will risk frying your radio if you flash that modem

Yikes! I just tried to flash two metro ones through recovery. Fortunately the installs failed. Should I use a sprint baseband?


I should have mentioned, my current baseband is LJ7.

your device is on metro's network it is not a metro sgs3, you need to play on the sprint side of town

Would you still get 4g? I'm sure the question has been answered a million times,jw if it's still impossible

No you will get no 4g only 3g this is because the sprint s3 does not take a uicc card

Even if it didn't have an embedded UICC it still wouldn't work because it doesn't support metros LTE bands
