This device just came out .. I know you guys are eager to flash the best of roms,kernel's,tweaks etc
But not all will work ...
Be careful I have already seen people encountering problems with recovery, soft bricks and even a couple hard bricks...
Learn about the device before Modding, don't just jump to conclusion and say hey "since other devices has it already maybe it will work with mine" then you end up with a hard brick and a broken heart :(
Just be careful this device is already powerful and most of all expensive (EXPENSIVE REALLY EXPENSIVE);)

I think of my new $500 phone as I would a new car. I'm not going to take a new car from the dealership to the drag strip to check out my 1/4 time before it's driven for a few thousand miles first (maybe never ;)).

Right now I'm playing some flac rips on 58% discharge with an up time of 15h 31 minutes on this charge. I want to rid my phone of bloat and I DEARLY miss Ad Free, but I can wait a bit longer to root.

What tweaks you have done for the battery life
 
Also, as it currently stands, the SGSIII is 97% BrickProof™.
I just need someone to confirm the stock tar restores to factory via ODIN to add 2.8% more to that confidence level.
Unfortunately, the final 0.2% I'm afraid I won't be able to help out with, as it stems from security apparatuses in the device, due to NFC payment and other proprietary samsung cr*p that may decide to take a dump at the hardware level.

ill be honest with u buddy i say f the wallet thing ill never use it i like to feel in control of my money i cant trust a technology to handle my money knowing there are flaws and loopholes being discovered every now and then u know what i mean?
 
I got you. But i'm not particularly concerned about the wallet thing, in any case. All signs are pointing to it being a myth, or at least not a simple: flash a ROM and you die, SUCKA!!! thing... I always thought it would be kind of weird if it was that flaky...

Ah yea I read u and fuzzy talking about it. Man u know what sucks? Not having anyone to try that s-beam with lol

I've been playing with different things I've read on the general GS3 forum and what I've found playing around with the phone.
When the phone is idle under power saving in settings tick CPU power saving.
Turn off WiFi, GPS, screen rotation, mobile data, bluetooth, and sync.
Under data usage tick restrict background data on everything that you can in the listing. This doesn't seem to effect Google Play Store.
Under Application Manager I've disabled most everything that's can be disabled.
I've been trying Juice Defender and haven't seen any advantage using it and I have to stop it because it interferes with WiFi.

bought 3, two on saturday before they came out and the other one the other day for my baby girl for making good grade's. Went from A's and B's to the A Honor Roll. :D
