Root [MetroPCS/CDMA] Change status from modified to normal!!

Well guys thanks to shabby for his post on about xposed mod we have a way to change back our device status from modified to normal.

just go to this link from xda

1. download the bottom attached file from op named XposedInstaller_2.1.3.apk
2. install it and open it and select install/updates
3. reboot
4. download and install CosmeticSysScopeNormalizer-1.1
5.you should get a notification that module isn't enabled yet so enable it
6.reboot
7.check status and enjoy :D

nice it worked tks..glad i didn't get any zero's this time lol..ps if you're on latest goodness it already has Xposedinstaller just download the Cosmetic.apk and add a check mark on it reboot :)
 
nice it worked thanks man but hey would i need to keep tht in the rom forever or can i delete it after?

not sure myself you could try to uninstall the comestic apk and then reboot to see if it still shows normal but i have a feeling it needs to remain installed.

have to say not many work for our variant :D i had to check each mod also only a few interested me. like call record :( wont work for us till some1 patches our lib files... but thats ok not really important.
 
Just a quick question, I installed this add-on when I check the status it says normal but if I hit the software update it says your phone has been modified no updates I have Metrop installed so if this app is cosmetic and doesn't really change anything is it worth running?
 
some should, some need to be recompiled which now that this is out i imagine will happen more often.

like if arocker wanted to port the metroplitan theme to this then no matter what version of metropolis ii update to it wouldnt break his theme anymore and he could instead focus on new features and stuff :)

That would be cool, and I've tried pretty much every rom and I keep coming back to metropolis is great thanks shabby.
 
Ive finish this. My status became normal but if i hit the update its like nothing had change it says "your device has been modified" still same as before. Plss help
 
this is just to mask your status from metro corp employees. the only solution is to un-root although triangle away has an option to help get your normal status back.

I was never able to get triangle away to work right. It said it worked, but always said modified. Anyway this worked perfect. Thanks n4zty and Shabby.

yes most mods need a rooted device. also if u guys want to do a ota firmware update even if ya rooted ya need to install ota root keeper then it will have an option to preserve root then temporary unroot then from there reboot check ur device status should say normal. from there do the fimr update then once its finished go back to ota root keeper and press restore root and thats all.
