Root [MetroPCS/CDMA] [FIX] MMS Fix for 4.3 P.S.

Copied and pasted the build prop but it gave me a boot loop. Did i do it in the right place? System/ paste

Copy the script inside of the build prop not the whole file. Just the text inside using the text editor function in root explorer by holding down build prop. And copy. Then go into the roms build prop. Do the same and open in text editor. Erase everything inside and paste the script from inside the new build prop. Then reboot.
 
Btw if you just need mms working. Just simply download mms.apk provided in downloads and push to system/app then reboot And it should work.
 
Is there a way to get this fix to work with a different messaging apk? Like, say I use the BB9 mms.apk. Would it be possible? I really miss customizing my messages! Thanks guys.

Time- about 15-30 mins (including upload times and all)

Tools needed- a root explorer (search in Google and you'll get many options to choose from)



The files we're looking for are:

1. "MMS.apk" (found in system/app)

2. "apns-conf.xml" (found in system/etc)

3. "build.prop" (found in system/)



I REPEAT only if you are savvy working around in a root explorer (THIS ISN'T A TUTORIAL) you may continue.

All the files above are fairly simple to find. All I'm asking is to extract them and then upload the files separately into three downloads. Using either d/host, 4 shared, dropbox, etc.

Will be greatly appreciated by many! :)

Thanks to Rooqy and his cooperation, we have a fix :)

Simply download the provided MMS.apk and push to System/apk.

As for the build.prop just a simple copy paste will do.
