Root [MetroPCS/CDMA] Flashing roms from other carriers?

Hi family
As we see more ports from other carriers to s3 I had always wonder if it has any negative side effects flashing roms like this to our phones i had ask edgee and others about this I'm curious maybe it's harmless or does it affect anything from signal or radios or any software issues thanks for the input.

I think it does affect something like ratios signals or whatever because I've been flashing all this ROMs and I've been noticing less poor signals and now I'm only able to get 3g only no matter what ROM I use... So I'm stuck with 3g no matter what I do.

Um interesting I hope not because then I think I might stay with the roms that are compatible for us just as a precaution

ONLY 3g??? That shouldn't be the case at all!

All you need to do is restore your nv items... And will be back to normal

i have a quick question? say you flashed a sprint GS3 to metro, do you use sprints custom roms or metros custom roms?

Same here ive been trying to find out how to get my 4g back cause i didnt back up my nv

Sounds more like a network error for the ones having 4G issues, but try flashing this in odin and see if it fix the issues and this sometimes fix the RIL/No IMEI when you didn't backup you NV. Firmware archive | Samsung Updates

I had no service at all, after flashing reset counter, no matter what rom i jump to, all my status was unknown. Nvrestore Didn't Work. I download shabby's stock tar via Odin mode, fixed everything. Maybe u should try it

Yea I should probably try that. OK I'm going to try the any cut thing first then IMA try the Odin and see watt happens thanks guys
