Root [MetroPCS/CDMA] Force close trying to copy

So, this just started happening today randomly...every time I highlight something then click copy what ever app I'm using force closes ...just now YouTube force closed by me hitting Menu> copy link? What's going on ? I Haven't changed anything ...

I would copy and paste the link of the long as thread going on about this in the main galaxy s3 forum.. Of where you will find all the info you need to know about his but.. Alas my copy and paste function is also dysfunctional.. All I can tell you is that unless you factory reset or root and clean out the clipboard.. You won't get it back.. That and hope the Jellybean update from metropcs that has been stayed to be released in Feb fixes the issue.. But don't take my word for it.. Search it. Or hope someone else.. Puts the link I am referring about in here. Good luck to ya.

Sorry to hear that we all hate such bugs and crashes, would you mind stating what rom are you on? if your on stock meaning you never installed any rom then let us know. sometimes the solution to the prob is alot simple than the prob.

I am having the same issues. Rooted phone with stock ROM. obviously Metro PCS SGS3.

Whenever I try to copy or cut any text from any application it freezes for a few seconds, then force closes. The text does NOT get copied to the clipboard, as in, when i open a browser or another app, I cannot paste the text.

it seems to me that this problem started after I installed the 2.99mb update about a week ago.

May just be a coincidence.

I tried and it does not seem to work. As it seems the program works with the Android clipboard system files which is the cause of the problem. Thanks for the help though.
