thanks so much man. I messed up by not loading the super user to my sd before I flashed the tar file. again sry for being suck a noob lol

Try this after you flash the recovery pull the battery and boot into recovery and flash SU. I think if you let the phone reboot after flashing recovery it will get replaced by stock recovery.

you are correct, you want to disable auto reboot

Don't forget nvrestore and make a backup of stock 4.1.2 root before playing with the ROMS. Read the Stickies, they are very important.

There are a few good ROMs out there. Besides the one above, #2 is good. I have been on it for months. No Problems.
