Root [MetroPCS/CDMA] help with stolen phone?

akikhia

Android Expert
my friend got robbed at gunpoint. they took his s3. its still activated on the line and is ringing.

i tried android lost it works on my sisters phone when i tested it but didnt work on his. im guessing they did a factory reset.

he doesnt have insurance unfortunately. stupid not to have it on a $500 phone

is there anyway i can get metro to give me the general location?? or anyway to find what google account is on the phone? anything at all?

shoulda had cerberus. you install it as a hidden system app and only an odin/rom flash will clear it out. its 1.99 for up to 5 devices. the list of features are far too numerous to list. i think ill start including it in metropolis, just so everyone can see it (you get a 7 day trial). so long as the app is running and youve logged i n once the device can have all sorts of stuff done with it

however if they removed teh google account short of reporting it stolen so its blacklisted your friend cant do anything... plan b works great if you install it via the web to your device but...

here is a flashable zip, it will appear as system framework in the running processes settings screen. so once you flash teh zip login/register then on their website send teh command to hide the app ( i have mine set to remotely able to wipe the device/sdcard).
