Root [MetroPCS/CDMA] how to get back stock kernel??

im on stock 4.1.2 but on a custom kernel how can i get back to stock? i need it for the allshare cast dongle

I actually tried to figure it out for you. But I couldn't. I also tried to figure out how to extract it from a rom. Also seemed like something that I got mixed feelings about. It's either really simple or too difficult for me. Not sure sorry.

restore your backup you did before you flashed the kernel

easiest way would be with mobile odin then just clear all options cept kernel bam instant stock kernel!

yea just put the metro pcs jellybean tar in your sd card load up mobile odin not sure if it has to be pro or not but probaly not since ur not trying to inject root with it but just try it. here are some examples of what to do on mobile odin just to flash stock kernel back.

when u load up the tar it should look like this

then select everything cept the kernel and clear it

should look like this when ur done clearing everything

then just press flash firmware and it should start the process.

Can u explain a Lil better what did u flash back to stock? The kernel or the whole rom? And if just kernel hopefully u were already on a stock metro 4.1.2 rom
