No issues using stock messaging

So everything is good except messaging, and the fix to that is pulling the stock messaging app from another rom or using a messaging app from the play store like textra?

I'm using stock messaging from ROM....nothing extra.

EDIT: I have found longer SMS messages do not send, I've since started using Textra without any issues....
