Root [MetroPCS/CDMA] LED Indicator very dim

Ever since the 4.1 Jelly Bean update, my LED indicator has dimmed to the point where I have to squint to see the blue led notification. When I ran 4.0.4 stock and 4.2 aosp roms, the LED is very bright and visible. Idk if its an issue related to 4.1 touchwiz, but if not could someone help me out?

Oh forgot to mention, the led issue is the same when running the stock 4.1.2 rom and metropolis 1.3.0.

Same here, I have to get close to the phone to see the LED/notification light blinking.

yeah its something with the latest update.. a battery saving tactic I believe lol but I rather have the bright led's myself.. once I figure out where they originate from ill find a way to get them bright again lol

Yes sir I need my led to shine like when we have a cm rom but you right I also think it might be a battery saving thing hopefully you c figure it out :thumbup:

im sure it could be as easy as copying a file or some text from the 4.0 base we have.. but its 'where and what' I need to find LOL

I searched Xda and found this app and it's free

It's called light manager - Led settings. Give it a try.

Seems like this app works within the settings I enable the brighter option and the light is brighter thanks papa good find :thumbup:

also enable cancel led after unlock or else led will continue to flash even after u have selected to view sms. its in advanced options.
