Hey i figured a new thread with all the links in one post and not spread out might be a better idea than what it was in the 4.3 thread.

Modem (CWM flashable)
Modem (Odin flashable)


Over-The-Air firmware, use this to upgrade from stock MF2 to NA1

Odin tar (full firmware) This will install knox and lock you to 4.3.

Slowly but surely these will be uploaded to shabbypenguin.com

Stock deodex'd rom:

1) wipe data/dalvik/cache
2) flash rom
3) flash 4.3 modem (if you dont have it already)
4) flash supersu/superuser to gain root

enjoy 4.3 without the new locked bootloaders etc. im working on metropolis 1.5.0 which will have knox stuff removed from the rom side (flashing this wont lock you down with knox, just there is knox related stuff in the rom).

Is it OK to flash the modem on a 4.4 aosp ROM if I've never gone to 4.3 touchwiz...and if so how is the signal and battery life been...

On the one that says over the air firmware does I it have Knox? Is it just stock 4.3? Working?

all of them except teh deodexed have knox. which is the only broken one.

ok shabby after a few hours ive come to the conclusion that its script related for the data issues on de-odexed rom.. I flashed using a diff script while still on mf2 and got my service to work but then broke wifi.. so im trying to figure out which lines exactly help (in my case anyway) hope this info helps you out running a few more tests now that I got things working haha but I need to go to bed, talk to ya tomorrow

thanks to ldrifta's assistance im now uploading a 4.3 deodex'd rom.

its stock rom, deodex'd, ive added lean kernel to fix wifi issues with older bootloaders, you will need the 4.3 modem you can find it on shabbypenguin.com in odin or cwm flashable form. youll need supersu, we cant figure out why root isnt working when its patched in so for now you are gunna have to root it yourself afterwards, sorry.

Everything works fine I just cant turn on my wifi.. data is on and I flashed the modem cleaned cache and delvik and gave root permissions. . Did I do something wrong?

odd it should be working, try flashing lk-usc-tw-v4.0.zip - Team US Cellular Files and see if that fixes it

Yeah lean kernel should fix wifi.. like shabby said flash the kernel there and be sure to wipe cache and dalvik!! Should work no prob.. im using it now

Perfect here too, been using all day, only remember flash lean kernel after flash the Rom because Wi-Fi issue

Yeah dont worry when metropolis and #2 get released all these minor issues will be fixed.. already have root sticking and some mods for you guys to flash to hold yu over as of now i have 4-way reboot, multiwindow for all apps and custom boot ani support working.. will post up files when i get home.. enjoy for now

yeah I know they work but some people aren't comfy or just don't want to use exposed framework mods.. I don't use them personally..

xposed is awesome, so many things are tweakable via wannam, heck i use tablet metrics and installed spotify and now it thinks i have a tablet so i can listen to any song i want to
