I took a lot of time to unroot my wife's phone (my old phone) to stock to see if I can get the update, but no dice . Anyone with a wife knows messing with her phone for the sake of anything but what they use it for is trouble.

Yep, I ended up bricking my wife's evo 3d a few months ago and she almost hit me with that same brick I created :banghead: had to buy her a new phone

dunno, never dealt with knox. all depends on what i get as well, if i get the ota.zip[ i gutta mod it to prevent the bootloaders from being updated, if no one gets me that then i need dumps from someone on 4.3 and that means tripping their knox counter to get root.

As long as there's a way to reset the count I'm cool... otherwise aosp all the way...

With Knox, once the flag is tripped there is no way in resetting it.

The "Paper Artist" app is also gone with the update. In the Play Store one can purchase it for $2.99. The built in Weather Widget is still using the same graphics found on 4.1.2 and not utilizing the newer ones found in the S4. I am also located in Monterey Park, CA with a 626 number out of El Monte, CA.

The update to 4.3 on the Samsung Galaxy S3 CDMA (SCH-R530M) is finally available!!! I got it tonight!!! Baseband: R530MVQUBMK5

The OTA ROOT KEEPER unfortunately does not work when upgrading to 4.3


However, MetroPCS Easy Wifi is no longer included. I was able to turn off Metro Music, App Store


I have not figured out a way to root the device yet.
