Root [MetroPCS/CDMA] New Kernel for Goodness Rom from US Cellular

^^let us know how it works out everything is ruining perfect for me right now on goodness not doing any change for now..:)
 
I'm using this kernel on metropolis 1.2.0 and I'm golden on this side. If you do take the plunge as with any custom kernel being flashed, make sure to reboot after flashing and then give the kernel time to settle. ;)
 
shabby word's this has been posted before and always worked aslong it for touch wiz and from us cellular
 
Very good i might say so myself. Battery life,... Incredible, running interactiveX governor. Best battery life on a touchwiz Rom.

What do you mean by let it settle ? what if i dont?
 
Sorry for asking this but where do I get the goodness ROM for US Cellular? I've been looking but no dice. The Goodness ROM was my favorite ROM on the Sprint version.

Sorry for late reply. What I mean by settling is. Give the kernel time to do its thing. Sometimes when flashing kernels as with new rooms there is a misconception that a new kernel will come blazing out the box and cure all. Each phone is different and will react differently to a new kernel. I am just saying give a new kernel time to get accustomed and then tweak it with your governors, i/o and volting; till you find the sweat spot for your phone. Hope that helps. :D
 
Oh believe me, I searched relentlessly. I typed goodness ROM us cellular galaxy s3 and the only thing remotely close that comes up is the forum. I looked for over a week & countless pages. After going to the page u linked & following the instructions word for word I still have no data w/this ROM. It just obviously was not meant to be.
 
I don't know how to do it but if you see the first page that rom is made for Sprint PCS, we are able to flash it but have to install the update for it to make able to work with Metro PCS, if I flash just the ROM without that patch I have no phone, no radio no data, so im guessing you need to have someone make that patch for the APN in order for that rom to work with US Cellular, shabby might know how to do it...

Yes u can.I flashed this today to see if it worked and bam.Evwrything running smooth gonna let it run for a couple days and then gonna start messing with the voltages and cpu speeds to see what this thing is really made of.
